How Lumapine Technologies handles information in our website and Pi Signage Cloud.
1. Who we are
Lumapine Technologies LLC (“Lumapine,” “we,” “us”) develops software services, including Pi Signage Cloud, for organizations using Google Workspace and connected digital signage players. This policy describes information processed through our public website and Pi Signage Cloud. Contact us at support@lumapinetechnologies.com.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we may process account information (such as name, email address, and Google account identifiers), organization and administrator information, connected player identifiers and operational status, signage content and playlists, schedules, application settings, and technical logs such as IP addresses, timestamps, errors, and device or browser information. We also process communications you send to support.
3. Google account and Google API data
When you choose Google sign-in or authorize a Google Workspace integration, Pi Signage Cloud requests the Google permissions needed for the enabled feature. Google Slides integrations may access selected presentations and slide content to render signage. Google Calendar integrations may access calendar information needed for configured displays. We use this information to authenticate users, connect selected Google resources, render and update signage, and troubleshoot authorized features. We do not claim access to all Google Workspace content; access depends on the permissions you grant and features you configure.
4. How information is used
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service; authenticate and administer accounts; deliver content to connected players; run configured synchronization and scheduling; respond to support requests; prevent misuse; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell Google user data or use Google API data for targeted advertising.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Pi Signage Cloud's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Access to Google user data is limited to providing or improving user-facing features, security, compliance, and other uses permitted under that policy.
6. Sharing and service providers
We may share information with infrastructure and hosting providers, Google services you authorize, and vendors that help operate or secure the service, only as needed for those functions. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users, the service, or others. We do not sell personal information.
7. Storage, security, and retention
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect data, including access controls and secured connections where implemented. No system is perfectly secure. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Exact retention periods may vary by data type and are being finalized for commercial release.
8. Your choices and deletion requests
You can revoke Pi Signage Cloud's Google access in your Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future authorized Google API access but does not necessarily delete data already stored by Pi Signage Cloud. To request access, correction, account or organization deletion, or deletion of stored Google-derived content, contact support@lumapinetechnologies.com. We will verify requests and explain any information we must retain for legal or security reasons.
9. Children and international use
The service is intended for organizational use and is not designed for children to register independently. Information may be processed in the United States. Organizations are responsible for ensuring their use of signage content complies with applicable laws and policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. Material changes may be communicated through additional channels when appropriate.
